Philanthropic Initiatives

Sport2Life Foundation

Founded in 2017 by Michael Saran, Sport2Life is a privately funded initiative dedicated to reversing the trends of digital addiction and sedentary lifestyles among youth. By promoting nutrition, discipline, and outdoor play, we help children build healthy habits for life.

  • Czech Republic: Launched “ProHero” in 2019, bringing active programming to elementary schools across Prague.
  • Croatia: Home to the international “Lav Cup” children’s tournament.
  • Turkey: Host of the Istanbul Fun Run, engaging hundreds of children annually.

Letňany Sportuji (Prague)

In the Letňany district of Prague, Odien supports local youth through sports camps and competitions. This initiative is bolstered by the Czech Volleyball and Basketball Federations, who provide professional coaching to ensure high-quality athletic development for the local community.

Saran: “With the Community, For the Community”

Through Saran Holding and Saran Media, our commitment to Turkey’s future is long-standing and tangible:

  • Infrastructure: Solely financed and built 5 schools and 21 sports halls, serving over 15,000 youth.
  • Inclusion: Proud sponsors of the Turkish National Paralympic teams since 2010.
  • Opportunity: Every April 23rd, we host 100 underprivileged students for a fully-funded educational trip to Istanbul.

 

Regional Community Projects

We take pride in our “boots-on-the-ground” approach to local support, particularly in Split, Croatia:

  • Maestral Children’s Foster Home: Our associates provide hands-on support through landscaping, holiday celebrations, and excursions to the Le Méridien Split. Most importantly, our Protégé Program offers direct employment opportunities to residents when they turn 18.
  • MOST Association: We support Split’s underprivileged and homeless populations through annual auctions and “Public Kitchen Days,” where our team cooks and serves meals to those in need.
