Established in 2004 by Michael Saran, Odien has become a leading regional real estate and asset management firm in Central and Eastern Europe. We invest in high-quality real estate properties and developments, private equity and special situations. We are also active in the transmission, distribution and retail of energy to households as well as corporates. We employ over 500 employees in the Czech Republic, Croatia and Turkey.
We invest our own capital in all transactions as well as those of private investors whom we have developed long term relationships with. We are value investors with a long-term investment horizon. Our investment strategy is to utilize our local and regional presence, expertise and experience to source proprietary deals, acquire high quality but under-performing assets, and then reposition and then actively manage the acquired assets to create long-term value.
